Corporate Wellbeing – Mindfulness in the Workplace

Nowadays we live and work in an increasingly stressful environment and this can have a major effect on the health of your business.  Mindfulness is the practice of being aware in every possible moment while keeping a non-judgmental outlook but at the same time observing your own bodily and emotional responses. Many businesses and individuals are introducing powerful Mindfulness techniques into their daily routines to help relieve stress in the workplace and to keep a positive outlook and to help adopt a more productive approach to life.

By providing your staff with a mindfulness programme it can help your business and your staff to be fit and healthy for the future.   Whether they are suffering personal or workplace challenges I can help by offering a simple and inexpensive way to manage those challenges

If you learn to love your mind and get the right mindset then you can re-energise your mind and unlock your potential.  Whether it is for Business or Personal, Mindfulness can help.

Your mind and unconscious plays a big role in how you deal with lifes challenges.  Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person?    Do you feel that something is holding you back or are you feeling overwhelmed by a certain situation?   Are you not attracting the right people, clients, friends?   Do you have people who try and steal your dreams, put you down and feed that inner voice that doesn’t want you to live the life you should?

I am trained in several mindfulness techniques and will tailor-make a session specific to your needs.    A mindfulness practice has a powerfully therapeutic element: it is recognised by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence as a beneficial intervention for depression and chronic pain.

Having negative and fearful thoughts is a habit and like other habits it takes a while to break the pattern of behaviour.  Daily practice of mindfulness techniques helps is to stay present and see our thoughts for what they really are.

“190 million working days were lost in 2010 due to sickness absence at a cost £17 billion [Source CBI] and the 2008 Black Review of the health of the working age population reported that the cost to the economy of working age ill-health in the UK is estimated at around £100bn each year. Increasingly it is being recognised that good health is good for business and that a healthy workforce is a productive one. In the 21st century, attracting and retaining the best people is critical to business success”
